Professor Richardson holds a PhD in Tourism from Griffith University, underscoring his expertise and dedication to advancing the field.
Marija believes firmly that the greatest growth happens when we step out of our comfort zones. That’s why, during her studies at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philology, she decided to take her first big leap and spend some time living and working abroad. This desire led her to Germany, India, and Spain, where she worked on organizing international projects and discovered her passion for leadership, as well as for people and organizational development.
Upon returning to her native Serbia, Marija decided to deepen her knowledge in these fields and enrolled in a Master’s program in Project Management at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade. At the same time, out of curiosity and a desire for further growth, she discovered neurolinguistic programming (NLP), which she fell completely in love with, along with the entire field of personal and professional development.
After several years of education, personal transformation, and achieving her goals, Marija decided to share this knowledge with others and became an international NLP trainer, certified by the Swiss organization IANLP.
Since then, Marija has also trained in coaching and obtained the title of NLP coach, later becoming a coach in the Points of You methodology. Believing that learning is a lifelong process, in 2021 she enrolled in a second Master’s program in Leadership, Coaching, and Emotional Intelligence at the EAE International Business School in Madrid.
After completing that program, Marija chose to stay in Spain and continued delivering training and working with people and companies worldwide. Today, she lives in Marbella, where she works at Les Roches as the coordinator of the Diploma of Advanced Study in Leadership & Talent Management, as well as a pathway coordinator and lecturer in the fields of human resources, leadership, and communication skills.

Since joining Les Roches Marbella in 2008, Jean-Pierre Gonzalez has been an integral part of our faculty, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students across all of our food and beverage outlets, as well as delivering a wide range of theoretical F&B courses. His professionalism and positive outlook inspire his students, helping them develop the skills and mindset needed for successful careers in hospitality.
With an impressive background in the industry, Mr. Gonzalez has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious hotel brands, including Marriott, Meliá, Starwood, and Hotel Regina Paris Louvre. He began his career in Paris after studying at the renowned École de Haute Cuisine Française Ferrandi, one of the leading Culinary Arts Schools in France. His career has taken him to roles in Paris, England, and Spain, enriching his expertise in international hospitality.
Dr. Krisztina Soreg is a distinguished university lecturer, economist and business analyst, holding a Ph.D. degree in Economics and Management Sciences from the University of Sopron, Hungary, as well as a graduate degree from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary with 9+ years of teaching experience. Since March 2022, she delivers courses as an Assistant Professor on various subjects in Data Analytics, Economics as well as Entrepreneurship and Business Modelling to undergraduate and postgraduate students, while also overseeing dissertation projects across a spectrum of topics.
Dr. Soreg’s expertise extends to her role as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of Development Economics with 30+ published articles. With a rich academic background, she has contributed her knowledge and insights to numerous public and private universities, including the University of Malaga, University of Milton Friedman in Hungary, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, as well as the American College in Spain.
Presently, she holds a full-time faculty position at Les Roches Marbella, and serves as the General Education Pathway Coordinator and Visiting Faculty at the Les Roches Crans-Montana campus in Switzerland, exemplifying her dedication to education and research within the global academic community. Besides, she is also fulfilling a role of the Dissertation Coordinator for the BBA7 students and is part of the Research Committee of Les Roches.

He held the role of operations manager for a variety of hotels and F&B companies, after which he opened several F&B businesses around the world.
He then returned home to join Les Roches Marbella as a Lecturer, aiming to fulfil his ambition to encourage young, passionate hospitality professionals to follow their dreams of working for leading hospitality companies or opening their own businesses.

Gilda graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration from Les Roches, having studied at both Marbella and Crans-Montana campuses. Raul Santiago Castro-Lopez, FHEA is a seasoned academic and hospitality management professional with over 15 years of teaching experience across vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, including at the Master’s level. Juan joined Les Roches in 2018, working first in Bistro Kitchen and then moving to pastry. He teaches the students using over 10 years of real-world restaurant experience. Prior to Les Roches, he worked at La Reserva Sotogrande.

Sanjay’s multi-sector industry experience consists of turn-around business management, exploring and assessing joint venture opportunities, business valuation, market analysis, due diligence, and negotiations.
His previous assignments include leading a well-established organic winery business as an international sales director. Sanjay’s prior work experience also includes his engagement in a renewable energy start-up in Switzerland, and his doctoral research focused on hospitality and tourism SMEs and free/open-source software.
He mentors start-ups and co-founded a digital hospitality marketplace. His current research focus includes Web 3, DAO and Blockchain solutions for decarbonizing the tourism industry.

Wolf started teaching at Les Roches in 2010, having also graduated at the school.
Before returning to his alma mater, Wolf gained a combined six years of experience in the hotel industry and educational consulting sector.
In the former, he worked with brands such as Hyatt. He is a regular guest lecturer in Latvia and has participated in several conferences.

Rachel has more than 20 years’ experience teaching a variety of subjects at Les Roches. She obtained both a masters and doctorate in Education from the Open University.
She is directly involved in student-led research in Les Roches through applied projects as well as teaching undergraduate students Methods of Research Inquiry, guiding students on their dissertation path and supervising dissertation students in their final bachelor semester. She has presented student work related to climate change and agritourism at a conference in Germany. Rachel also teaches courses related to digitalisation and change management at the post-graduate level, both face-to-face and on-line.
Last but not least, Rachel is a member of the Les Roches Research Committee, heading the Scholarship for Teaching and Learning Theme. Her research interests are wide ranging and include emotional labour, faculty lived experience of crises, professional interaction and identity and sustainability. She values researching alongside her peers and their work has been presented at conferences in Europe and won an award in the US and has been published in leading journals and as a book chapter.

He has worked with top hotel companies including Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt and Le Méridien. Ruth has worked for Les Roches since 2006 teaching several Arts and Humanities electives and more recently, Organisational Behavior, Change Management, and Talent Management. In addition, she oversees quality assurance and academic development.
With a background in Arts Education and Events management in the UK, she worked for the Theatre Royal in Newcastle on collaborative projects with companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre, Scottish Opera and English Heritage.
Ruth’s research interests include professional identity and innovation in higher education. She is President of the Swiss Faculty Development Network, and also serves as Vice President of a Swiss arts foundation: Sion Violon Musique.

Dr Dimitrios Diamantis brings over 20 years of hospitality research and teaching experience. His areas of expertise include sustainability, ecotourism, destination management, and branding in tourism and hospitality. He holds a PhD in Consumer Involvement and Ecotourism from Bournemouth University.
Dimitrios began his academic career in 1998 as Associate Lecturer at Bournemouth University. The following year, he joined the faculty of Les Roches Switzerland, where he would go on to supervise the launch of the institution’s first MBA programme. In 2007, Dimitrios returned to the UK to teach tourism management at Sheffield Hallam University. He came back to Les Roches Switzerland in 2010, where he continued to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level and oversaw the development of Les Roches’ current Postgraduate Diploma and MBA programmes.
Dimitrios has previously taught as Visiting Lecturer at KDU University College (Malaysia), Institut Paul Bocuse (France) and HTW Chur (Switzerland), and acted as External Examiner for several UK universities.
Since 2014, he also serves as a member of the judging panel for the Greek Tourism Awards.
Dimitrios was appointed as Executive Dean at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education in January 2021, after serving as a Dean of Graduate Studies from January 2016-December 2020.
